بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِِ
سب تعریفیں اللہ ہی کے لئے ہیں جو تمام جہانوں کی پرورش فرمانے والا ہے
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Ever-Merciful
١- إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ
بیشک ہم نے اس (قرآن) کو شبِ قدر میں اتارا ہے
1. Indeed, We revealed this (Qur’an) in the Night of Power.
٢- وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ
اور آپ کیا سمجھے ہیں (کہ) شبِ قدر کیا ہے
2. What will make you realise what the Night of Power is?
٣-لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ
شبِ قدر (فضیلت و برکت اور اَجر و ثواب میں) ہزار مہینوں سے بہتر ہے
3. The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.
٤- تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ
اس (رات) میں فرشتے اور روح الامین (جبرائیل) اپنے رب کے حکم سے (خیر و برکت کے) ہر امر کے ساتھ اترتے ہیں
4. The angels and the (holy) Spirit descend in this (night) by the permission of their Lord, with every (decreed) matter.
٥- سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ
یہ (رات) طلوعِ فجر تک (سراسر) سلامتی ہے
5. It is (all) peace until the rising of the dawn.
