بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِِ
سب تعریفیں اللہ ہی کے لئے ہیں جو تمام جہانوں کی پرورش فرمانے والا ہے
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Ever-Merciful
١- وَالْعَادِيَاتِ ضَبْحًا
مراد (میدانِ جہاد میں) تیز دوڑنے والے گھوڑوں کی قَسم جو ہانپتے ہیں
1. By the galloping (war) horses, breathing pantingly (on the battlefields),
٢- فَالْمُورِيَاتِ قَدْحًا
پھر جو پتھروں پر سُم مار کر چنگاریاں نکالتے ہیں
2. by the strikers, striking sparks of fire (on rocks with their hoofs),
٣- فَالْمُغِيرَاتِ صُبْحًا
پھر جو صبح ہوتے ہی (دشمن پر) اچانک حملہ کر ڈالتے ہیں
3. by the raiders, launching raids at dawn,
٤- فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِ نَقْعًا
پھر وہ اس (حملے والی) جگہ سے گرد و غبار اڑاتے ہیں
4. raising thereby a trail of dust clouds,
٥- فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِ جَمْعًا
پھر وہ اسی وقت (دشمن کے) لشکر میں گھس جاتے ہیں
5. and penetrating the middle of the enemy ranks,
٦- إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ
بیشک انسان اپنے رب کا بڑا ہی ناشکرا ہے
6. indeed, humans are ungrateful to his Lord.
٧- وَإِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ
اور یقیناً وہ اس (ناشکری) پر خود گواہ ہے
7. Surely, he (himself) is a witness to that.
٨- وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ
اور بیشک وہ مال کی محبت میں بہت سخت ہے
8. Indeed, he is extreme in the love of wealth.
٩- أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِي الْقُبُورِ
تو کیا اسے معلوم نہیں جب وہ (مُردے) اٹھائے جائیں گے جو قبروں میں ہیں
9. Does he not know when whatever is in the graves is turned over,
١٠- وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الصُّدُورِ
اور (راز) ظاہر کر دیئے جائیں گے جو سینوں میں ہیں
10. and whatever is in the breasts is made apparent,
١١- إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌ
بیشک ان کا رب اس دن ان (کے اعمال) سے خوب خبردار ہوگا
11. indeed, their Lord shall be All-Aware of them that Day.
